Aussies have the chance to start the month of June as a newly made Oz Lotto millionaire as the jackpot rises to $5 million.
So far this year, there have been seven Oz Lotto division one winners who have collectively scored $115 million.
With Oz Lotto, victorian and Western Australian players have had a winning year so far, equally scoring three division one winning entries per state.
Players from the Northern Territory are not far behind, scoring one division one entry with a syndicate of 10 players.
The Lott asked previous division one winners how they had enjoyed their millions. It gave them financial freedom for 40 percent of people; 29 percent shared their win with others, while 9 percent went on a shopping spree.
A further 9 percent said they spent their win on the household, 7 percent used it to retire, and 6 percent took a holiday.
The winning numbers are: 1, 10, 20, 27, 31, 39, 42 | Supps: 3 and 40
There were no division one winners.
Four people shared in division two.
Anna Hobdell, The Lott spokeswoman, said any division one winner would have the chance to experience a once-in-a-lifetime moment and become the eighth Oz Lotto millionaire this year.
“Both Victoria and Western Australia are sitting neck and neck with the amount of Oz Lotto division one winners so far in 2021 – but could this be the night that another state outplays their winning streak?” she said.
“An Oz Lotto division one win would bring an abundance of big Aussie fun, with endless possibilities. Imagine how much your life could change with an additional $5 million? Forty percent of our winners in 2021 said their windfalls allowed them to experience financial relief and freedom.”
Back in May, a Victorian woman who has been through a tough time in recent weeks said her $5.6 million Oz Lotto win had helped bring light back into her life.
“I am so emotional. I need to hang up this phone and just break down,” she said at the time. “This is incredible.”
